The screen is a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen , the main highlight of the screen is it’s refreshed rate which is clocked at a whooping 120 Hz,the screen features a gorilla glass 3 which is tough glass and is known to be resistant against scratches and drops. Despite the ongoing trend, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition doesn’t have a metallic body, rather, it has a plastic body and an aluminum frame which might not look classy to many users but it significantly reduces the weight off the phone.Talking about the weight, the Samsung Galaxy Fan edition weighs around 190 grams which is quite light. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE measures 159.80 x 74.50 x 8.40mm (height x width x thickness).
Given that the Samsung Galaxy Fan edition comes equipped with a 120 Hz refresh rate screen, it requires a lot of rendering and processing to deliver a smooth response, hence the smartphone sports the blazing fast octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor and Adreno 650 chipset to deliver enticing graphics and fast performance.

Who should buy
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan edition is not exactly a flagship killer as it has a few features which are not as good as the Samsung Galaxy S20 but we can surely say that Samsung did an outstanding job with specs given that the phone is priced around 700 USD which is a steal given the features. Thise customers who look for a premium vibe from a non-flagship phone can go for it and since it doesn’t feature flashy and fancy screens, it might also appeal the older customers who are not comfortable with folding screens or curved screens. The Samsung One UI is a killer UI experience and all those who use it have given positive reviews about it so the UI is going to attract a lot of customers, also the vibrant colours offer a very sporty look and doesn’t give out a formal vibe like the case with the flagship premium phones. The durability of the plastic back has to be tested and also, since the class is a straight one, the chances of it accidently cracking reduces manifolds. From what we can tell, the Galaxy S20 FE is a solid device. It appears to be for younger people who don’t want to spend a grand on a phone. Samsung is still offering the same three years of Android updates, which means you should get Android 11.
